Income Tax Verification Service

The Tax Return Verification report or TRV is used in situations when the lender is either required to verify reported income or feels it prudent to do so. Information from the applicant's IRS Form 1040, page one, is provided to the IRS who in turn gives the lender a line by line comparison showing the figures that were actually filed for the calendar year requested.
